We secured an unprecedented ruling against a statutory body – the Karnataka State Human Rights Commission - when the High Court of Karnataka set aside a ruling of the Commission against our client, a serving police officer. The High Court accepted our stand that the Commission had passed a ruling in excess of its jurisdiction and without affording our client the opportunity to be heard.
